WHY: Our airborne health threats are intensifying. Traditional apparel is not designed to address these health risks, and many are cheap polyester blends that are hard to recycle or biodegrade. Plus, the waste of disposable masks is piling up faster than ever.
More function than your face mask! Designed to look, feel, and function like a typical scarf, the Bioscarf is super soft, warm, lightweight, with excellent breathability. The best part is the proprietary built-in G95 filtration technology inside from edge to edge of the fabric, which was created from 100% post-consumer recycled water bottles. Designed to be washed and reused.
HOW TO WASH YOUR G95 GEAR:
The G95 Company was created as a direct response to the effects of climate change that we have seen escalating over the past few years. G95 is as passionate about not contributing to Climate Change as they are about creating G95 gear that helps protect you from its harmful effects. This commitment drives many of their decisions when designing our products, and we have developed several strategies to ensure that we are an ecologically positive and responsible manufacturer.
RECYCLED MATERIALS: Many products are made using fabrics created from 100% post-consumer recycled water bottles. Single-use plastics that would otherwise end up in landfill or, worse, floating in the ocean get re-purposed and get to live a new life as G95 gear.
SUSTAINABLE MATERIALS: Lighter weight, warm weather products are made from fabric that is an organic hemp and cotton blend. Popular and widely cultivated during the earliest decades of the United States, Hemp is an incredibly useful and sustainable textile. Recent years have seen its resurgence over more damaging and high maintenance crops. By using organic cotton, we are avoiding the highly toxic chemicals used in traditional cotton farming.
